The term chick flick is slang, often derisive, for a movie that appeals mainly to women or young girls, either by design or in popular opinion (Source:Wiki) for example The Princess Diaries, Cinderella. I am a huge fan of high testosterone movies such as XXX, Fight Club, etc, however, I also happen to be a good fan of the former genre and have avidly seen movies including Mean Girls, Girl next door, Even Stevens the movie, The Princess diaries, Legally Blonde, The Prince and I. There is however a clear line that distinguishes romance from chick flicks and I prefer, once again, the former. Romantic comedy being my favourite genre on the whole, I have viewed many many times the following movies and even have favourite scenes/lines from it. This might hold more or less no appeal to most but I also consider this my personal (not private though) diary and would love to read my own posts after a few years and this is one for those later times.
