Pride of the Desi's - One of many

Posted by SternMystic in , , ,

My first pick from the many that do us proud is a little obscure, not yet famous, Amyn Kaderali who graduated from NYU's Tisch School of Arts. With a bunch of excellet short films to his credit including the SlamDance '98, best dramatic short, award winning production "Little Man" he is quite a talented director/writer. Adding to his list of credits is the Martin Scorcese Young Filmmaker award in 1996. Other short films by AmynK include "Take the 'A' Train" and "Call Center". Having worked on a lot of collaborations, he is currently seeking financing on two independant full length feature films titled "Kissing Cousins" and "She Stole My My Heart and Some Other Stuff Too". Feature films are a whole different ball game than short films, but I suspect his talent will cause no less a stir with the public en-masse than the artsy short film elites that he has already managed to woo.

hang on to your ignorant horses folks, Amyn's "Little Man" is a short from 1997, not the Wayans brother feature of 2006

if you want to see Amyn's "Call Center" then head over to www.callcentermovie.com
